Wiley Hausam is the Director of Arts + Cultural Programming at Montclair State University, which includes its acclaimed professional visiting artists series, PEAK Performances. He has been a university multi-arts presenter since 2002 and a producer of theater since 1993, including as an Associate Producer at The Public Theater and a curator at Joe’s Pub. He was an associate producer of four shows on Broadway, including Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk. Artists with whom he is closely associated include director/producer George C. Wolfe, actor/playwright Anna Deavere Smith, and composer/lyricist/librettist, Michael John LaChiusa. For Theatre Communications Group, he edited The New American Musical: An Anthology from the End of the Century. He taught in the Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC.
