Old-Fashioned Coffee House Night: David Roth and a Singer-Songwriter Showcase
September 28 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm EDT
Free – $20
The Peoples' Voice Café in partnership with The Village Trip
Get into a 1960s groove as Peoples’ Voice Café takes you back to the era of subterranean Greenwich Village coffee houses. No microphones, no amps, no speakers and of course no live-streaming. Just acoustic instruments and natural voices with chairs arranged in a circle and the lights low. Home-made music as it was and still can be.
After David Roth’s 45-minute set, five less known but very talented singer-songwriters will each perform two of their songs: Fred Arcoleo, Jane Babits, Joel Landy, Bracha Lieberman, and Lindsey Wilson.
The Peoples' Voice Cafe is an alternative coffee house offering quality entertainment. We provide a space for the artistic expression of a wide variety of humanitarian issues and concerns. The cafe is a collectively run not-for-profit corporation and is not affiliated with any political organization. New active participants are always welcome.
