Long before Bonnie and Dan became a couple, Bonnie Milner attended many concerts at the legendary Eagle Tavern, sparking her interest in traditional music and song. Sharing her life with Dan inevitably brought Irish ballads and songs into her repertoire and heart. Their many trips to Ireland and England solidified her appreciation of such a profound singing tradition. They performed here and abroad at folk venues and festivals. She appears on several of Danโs recordings.
Bonnie is a founding member of the internationally acclaimed all-woman maritime song quartet, The Johnson Girls (www.thejohnsongirls.com). She sings with South Street Seaportโs New York Packet โ a group Dan started.
